The lake looks very peaceful.
Not matching his mood.
He wishes the peaceful look could rub on him somehow.
But, he knows that’s not going to happen.
Sometimes, he wonders what is so wrong with him?
Why whenever he thinks he finally going to get some peace
That’s when something bad really starts to happen.
Like when he gets that new job then his girlfriend ends up breaking up with him.
Why can’t he ever catch a break?
At this point all he’s trying to do is take one step at a time.
And live each day as it comes.
